Can LTO8 drive read LTO6?
Could you please clarify if an LTO8 tape drive is capable of reading data stored on an LTO6 tape? I'm considering upgrading my storage solution and would like to ensure compatibility with older tapes. Is it possible to utilize both LTO6 and LTO8 tapes in the same drive, or would I need to purchase a separate drive for each format?
